A Sign?

Patch has a torn ligament in his hind leg. :(

It happened 2 weeks ago, when he jumped up the sofa in excitement to eat a biscuit. We didn't think much of it, thought it was probably just a sprain. But after a week plus, he didn't seem to be getting better so my parents brought him to the vet and found out that he had somehow torn his ligament.

Apparently, it's nothing serious and is quite common amongst active dogs. Nonetheless Patch will need to go for corrective surgery. Yeah, his second surgery in less than half a year --- this is turning out to be a bad year for Patch so far. Worse still, the Pet Hotel called to say that there's a slot in the quarantine station on 24 April (Patch's birthday!). I had to call them back to turn down the slot. I think it will be awhile before the next available slot. Sigh.

Also, I think my parents are starting to have second thoughts about letting Patch go. When I spoke to my mum a couple of days ago, she said that perhaps this is a sign that Patch should not go to Singapore. ;p
