I'm actually looking forward to our trip back to KL this weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing my parents and in-laws (especially Brian). I'm looking forward to catching up with Ee Leng and Tzu-Anne. I'm looking forward to going to Central Market and doing some home decor shopping. Above all else, I'm looking forward to satisfying my cravings for the following:
- Bak Kut Teh (
DARK soup, not
PEPPER soup)
- Char Kway Teow (SOY sauce, not SWEET sauce)
- Hokkien Mee (DARK sauce, not LIGHT sauce)
- Rojak (
INDIAN style, not
CHINESE)
- Chendol (GULA MELAKA, not BROWN SUGAR)

I so wholeheartedly agree on ALL the observations you made on the food. I wonder if they were trying to 'personalise' the food in order to make it Singaporean!
Btw, I just noticed that you've posted the invite to read J's blog as the link to the blog... anyone who clicks on the link can somehow register as a reader!?
oops so sorry, didn't realise that anyone could just click and register. not to worry, i've removed the link from here. but i've kept it on my computer so that i can view it whenever i want to. :)
