Brought Patch to the vet because he'd been licking his paws (until they were red and swollen) and scratching his body quite furiously for the past month. Vet said it is probably some kind of allergy, which has developed into fungus. So he's given Patch some anti-fungul tablets, cream and shampoo. The total bill came up to 112 dollars. Sigh.
... but then again. :)

Interesting conversation I had with the receptionist at the vet's.
Me: I'm here to see the doctor.
Receptionist: (looks puzzled)
Me: I mean, my dog needs to see the doctor.
Receptionist: Name?
Me: Patch
Receptionist: Surname?
Me: Surname? For my dog? (wondering whether to say Quah or Lee)
Receptionist: No, your surname.
Me: O. Lee. (sheepish)
